LIBRARIANS' DAY CELEBRATION

Padmashri Dr.
Shiyali Ramamrita Ranganathan (b.
12-Aug-1892, d. 27-Sep-1972) is considered the father of Indian Library and
Information profession.
His birthday
is observed in India as National Library (Librarian) Day. In this regard, we
once again emphasise the importance of libraries and encourage all the students
of CTTE College to make better use of services at our Library.
